Pak Leisure Hours (1964-1965)

#0872 Cinderella; broom $20, tan princess phone $3, #976 Sweater Girl; wooden bowel with three balls of yarn and two needles $8, & #979 Friday Nite Date; black tray $10, two glasses with cotton foam $20 and two straws $40, a tan plastic TV with metal antenna $20.  NRFB $145

Pak In the swim (1964-1965)

One piece helenca swimsuit in hot pink (photo), blue or orange. Straw hat with matching scarf, white sunglasses with blue lenses, tan wedgies with gold uppers were the accessories.  NRFB $100.

Sears Exclusive Mink Jacket (1964-1965)

Shown is a reproduction, color should be 

autumn haze, tan lining, Barbie tagged

Mattel Barbie Fashions 1965

Barbie got 32 new outfits this year, 15 from last year were repeated, also new were the Sew Free Fashions and Skipper; Barbie's  sister got two new friends; Ricky & Skooter in 1965.

1034 Hostess set (1965)

#1632 Invitation to Tea in a red version, clear gold glitter open toe shoes & #1634 Learns To Cook, darker Barbie printed fabric dress, red open toe heels.  Three exclusive accessories; 2 silver colored candelabras with pink painted candles, a blue bowl of fabric flowers, (#4010 Dining Room has the blue bowl but with fruit in it) & a gray serving tray.  NRFB $4,000.

1614 Junior Prom (1965)

Red sleeveless chiffon gown $100, white rabbit stole lined in white satin $175, white long tricot gloves $17, pearl on a chain necklace $75 & red open toe heels $8.  NRFB $600, MC $375.

1615 Saturday Matinee (1965)

Tweed and gold flecked two piece fitted suit trimmed in real fur, jacket $65, skirt $50 turban fabric matching hat $100, short tricot brown gloves $100, gold & fur purse on gold tone chain  $200 (this purse came as a pak item too), brown open toe heels $12.  NRFB $900, MC $525.

1619 Fun N Games (1965-1966)

Pastel rainbow pleated sleeveless dress $35, wooden croquet mallet $10, ball $10,  two metal stakes with painted trim $40, and two metal wickets $40.  NRFB $300, MC $135. #1910 Sunny Pastel for Skipper is a matching outfit.

1620 Junior Designer (1965-1967)

Turquoise sheath with green zig-zag skirt border $20, multi color floral satin appliqués $22, a silver metal iron $25, "How to Design Your Own Fashions" yellow book $20, green plastic belt  $25 and green spike closed toe heels $35.  NRFB $350, MC $200.

1621 Knit Hit (1965)

Two piece navy and green argyle knit dress $70 (or each piece $35), copy of "The Mattel Daily newspaper" $65 and soft red flat shoes $28.  NRFB $225, MC $165.

1622 Student Teacher (1965-1966)

One piece red knit and hounds tooth red and white long sleeve dress $30, red shiny plastic hip belt $30, blue globe on white pedestal $38, black pointer silver tipped $60, blue geography book $13, black frame eye glasses $30 and red spiked heels $25.  NRFB $400, MC $230.

1623 Vacation Time (1965)

Pink bulky knit v-neck sweater $25, pink & white mini-check shorts $25, black camera painted gray trim $35, and soft pink flat shoes $24.  NRFB $240, MC $110.
