Gebruder Kuhnlenz Dolls 1884-1935

Founded by brothers; Julius, Bruno and Cuno Kuhnlenz in 1884, their porcelain factory was located in Kronach, Bavaria, Germany. They made antique bisque head Dolly face dolls, unique Character face and tiny 7" dolls. It's believed that Kuhnlenz also supplied bisque heads to the French market. Gebruder Kuhnlenz dolls are of very good quality.

Shown on right - Gebruder Kuhnlenz, Dolly face doll mold 165, 24" tall, with a bisque socket head, sleep eyes, real brush upper eyelashes, painted upper and lower lashes, feathered painted eyebrows, open mouth with upper teeth, jointed composition body.
