French J. Verlingue doll, 20"

Antique French Verlingue doll, 20" tall

Jules Verlingue built porcelain factories in 1919 at Montreuil-sous-Bois and another in 1921 at Boulogne-sur-Mer and also had an address and phone number in Paris, France the same as H. Delcourt, who was Gesland's successor in 1921+ and used Verlingue bisque doll heads. 

 

Verlingue made bisque head child dolls on composition and wood jointed bodies, all bisque bathing beauty dolls and mignonettes from 1915 through the 1920s.
