Carl Horn Antique Miniature All Bisque Dolls 1906+ German

Carl Horn Puppenfabrik, Doll Factory was founded in 1906 in Dresden, Germany. Carl Horn specialized in making miniature all bisque dolls dressed in national costumes, bathing suits, Bride, Groom, maids, Mothers, Fathers, children, chimney sweeper with a ladder, Santa Claus etc., at least 120 different dolls dressed mostly in knitted or crochet style clothing are mentioned.

The male or female dolls are sized from a tiny 1 1/4″ to 3 1/2″ tall, they are jointed at the shoulder and hips, have molded painted hair, a black dot for eyes, closed mouth, dressed in crochet clothing and hat, molded painted shoes, dolls are unmarked. Carl Horn also advertised all bisque Soldier and lilliput – tiny miniature all bisque animal dolls.
