Arrow Rubber & Plastics Edward Mobley (1958) Girl Doll and rubber (1962) Bear squeak toys

Arrow Rubber & Plastics Corporation made thousands of hard plastic, rubber and vinyl dolls in the United States from the late 1940s, until in the mid-1960s.  Edward Mobley first designed dolls and toys for Sun Rubber and later for Arrow Rubber & Plastic as noted by the Edward Mobley name in the respective toy markings.

Arrow doll and toy maker appears to have made mostly knock off or look a like dolls, small rubber animal or doll squeak toys, that were reasonably priced and of fairly good quality.

ca. 1950s Arrow Rubber & Plastics Baby doll, 16″ tall, rubber head, molded hair, sleep eyes, open mouth, plastic jointed body or vinyl magic skin one piece body, the doll mark Arrow Rubber or Arrow Plastic.

1956 Arrow Rubber & Plastics Lady doll, 25″ tall, hard plastic jointed body, vinyl head with rooted saran hair, blue sleep eyes, twist waist, high heel feet, wore fancy dress usually of satin fabric, petticoat and a rose flower on side of skirt, doll marked Arrow Plastic.

1959 Arrow Rubber & Plastics Baby dolls, 10″ tall, one piece molded rubber body with #1 on left, in a molded onsie or #2 on right , in molded pink painted panties, molded painted hair, each doll has inset stationary eyes.
