Carl Horn Puppenfabrik, Doll Factory was founded in 1906 in Dresden, Germany.

They specialized in making miniature all bisque dolls dressed in national costumes, bathing suits, Bride, Groom, maids, Mothers, Fathers, children, chimney sweeper with a ladder, Santa Claus etc., at least 120 different dolls dressed mostly in knitted or crochet style clothing are mentioned.

The boy or girl dolls are sized from a tiny 1 1/4″ to 3 1/2″ tall, they are jointed at the shoulder and hips, have molded painted hair, a black dot for eyes, closed mouth, molded painted shoes, dolls are unmarked. Horn also advertised Soldier and lilliput Animals.
