1972 Kenner Blythe doll
Kenner Products was founded in 1947 by the Steiner brothers of Cincinnati, Ohio USA and made children’s toys. In 1967 Kenner was purchased by General Mills and became it’s subsidiary.
In 1987 Tonka acquired Kenner-Parker Toys. 1991 Hasbro took ownership of the Kenner and Tonka brands.
Beside toys, Kenner produced hard plastic, cloth and vinyl dolls, perhaps best known for the popular Star Wars action figures, Blythe dolls and the Strawberry Shortcake doll series.

The vintage Kenner Blythe dolls are a hot item and very pricey, Blythe dolls have been reissued.

1974 Kenner Dusty doll, 11 1/2″ tall, her black friend issame size Skye doll. Dusty doll mark GMFGI 1974, has long platinum hair, tanned skin tone, wrists that rotate, she originally came in a pale blue sport swimsuit with her daisy logo appliqué, which is her favorite flower.
1976-1981 Kenner Cover Girls Darci doll, Dana doll and Erica doll, all 12 1/2″ tall, came with (Darci) blonde or brunette, Dana with black hair and Erica auburn red rooted hair, dolls are made jointed posable vinyl, have rooted hair, painted facial features, Kenner Darci doll mark GMFGI 1978.
1976-1990’s Kenner Stretch Armstrong action figure,13″ tall, heavy stretch vinyl that can stretch to four feet and then return to original shape, not marked.
