Not much information is found about the Italian doll maker Carlos Ottolini, who made hard plastic and vinyl headed dolls from the 1950s onward. Most of Ottolini’s dolls are unmarked, however they have a very distinctive Italian face and the face paint of the dolls lips are often similar. Ottolini doll trade mark is two reclining lions inside a triangle on a silver paper label.
