Roberta Doll Company Dolls 1946-1970s USA
The Roberta Doll Company was a small to mid-sized doll maker from about 1946 to the 1970s. Not much is known about the Roberta company. Doll collectors will find the company made or sold composition, hard plastic and vinyl dolls, many dolls that look like other doll makers dolls or knock-off dolls so to say or were dolls bought to dress and sell from other doll manufacturers.
The Roberta Doll Company is probably best known for their LuAnn Simms and Roberta Ann dolls. The Roberta Doll Company also sold character dolls, glamour girls, brides and some baby dolls too.

1952 Roberta Haleoke doll, 16″ tall, all hard plastic, lone black wig, sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth, dressed in a Hawaiian costume with floral top, grass skirt and flower lei accessories, doll unmarked. Probably other sizes available, too.

1954 Niresk Hollywood Bride doll 14″
1954-1955 Niresk Hollywood Bride doll, 14″ tall, all composition jointed body, a walker, sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth, mohair wig, came wearing a Bride’s dress with a wardrobe of other casual clothing, doll is unmarked, doll shown mint in the box.
Niresk Industries appears to have sold, dressed, repackaged some of Roberta’s dolls, as this doll is unmarked with the same flat face profile as many of Roberta’s dolls.

ca. 1956 Roberta Ann, Ballerina doll, 14″ tall, all hard plastic jointed body, wigged, sleep eyes, open mouth, doll marked Made in USA. Many doll makers used the Made in USA doll mark along with or without a number – so they can be difficult to pin point the exact doll maker.
