Hamburger and Company was founded in New York City in 1889 as an importer and distributor of dolls and toys, later they expanded with offices in Berlin and Nuremberg, Germany as well.

In 1898 Hamburger had Simon & Halbig make the Santa head doll molds 1248 and 1249, it’s possible Gebrüder Heubach’s made some of the Santa Imperial head doll mold 1260, in 1901+ Hamburger made Imperial H & Co. a line of kid bodied dolls, in 1902+ Hamburger advertised Marguerite dolls and Old Glory dolls made by Adolf Wislizenus, in 1903+ Hamburger Viola doll was made, which often includes the mark H & Co., in 1907+ Hamburger Dolly Dimple doll mold 5777 or 9355 both made by Gebrüder Heubach.

Hinrichs & Company was founded in New York City and Selb Bavaria, Germany and produced or imported dolls of all kinds. Hinrichs bisque doll heads (by Heinrich Handwerck) were marked H & Co. a registered trademark that had been in continuous use since January, 1890. Hinrichs & Company closed in 1904. Hinrichs doll mold 51, 55.

Heber & Company Dolls 1900-1922 German

Founded by Julius Heber in 1900 in Neustadt, near Coburg, Germany and produced bisque doll heads and porcelain or bisque knick-knacks. Heber & Company closed in 1922. Heber doll mold 508, 514.
