German Antique Mystery Unidentified Doll Mold and Size Numbers

Who doesn’t love a good mystery solved, as it makes for an exciting book to read, a thrilling movie to watch, can bring closure to a family or solve a historic event. We will not be solving any of those mysteries here, instead, shown are all the German doll mold and size numbers that we have researched since the early 2000 and found to be unidentifiable.

Antique German bisque doll marked with mold numbers of less than three digits are usually a dolls size number ie.  0, 2/0, 3, 3/0, 5, 5/0, 8/0, 10/0, 12/0. 13/0, 14/0, 15/0, 19 – 16, Germany, 22 tx dep, 27 – 57 dep, 26 2/0, 36/5 Made in Germany, 46 3xx, 53, 72 0 5, 88 0 Germany on a black doll  . . . and so forth.

Antique French bisque dolls are often, only marked with a size number under two digits.
