Alt, Beck & Gottschalck ABG Dolls 1854-1941 German

Alt, Beck & Gottschalck, ABG is also known as Porzellanfabrik von Alt, it was founded by Gottlieb Beck and Theodor Gottschalck and joined by Friedrich Alt and Christian Ernst Reinhold in 1881, they were located in Nauendorf near Ohrdruf, Stutzhaus, Germany.

ABG produced antique bisque, China head or Parian Lady dolls with kid, cloth or composition bodies,  beautifully detailed child bisque socket head dolls and character baby dolls, all bisque dolls, as well as they decorated pottery from 1854 to around 1941. In 1920 the firms of Alt, Beck & Gottschalck, Alt & Koch, Carl Beck & Alfred Schulze merged.

George Borgfeldt distributed ABG dolls, some of the named dolls are My Girlie doll mold 1362, Bye-Lo Baby doll molds 1369 or 1373, Bonnie Babe doll mold 1386 or 1393, Pretty Peggy (Grace Corry Rockwell design) 1391, doll mold 1402 (an Averill design), doll mold 1403 is a googly eye doll, Baby Bo Kaye doll mold 1407, Gladdie doll mold 1410, Aero Baby or Fly Lo Baby doll mold 1418, Babykins dolls mold 1435.
