Otto Gans Doll Factory 1901-1930+ – Otto Gans was an inventor, located in Waltershausen, Germany.  He registered his doll patent in 1901 for dolls with roguish googly flirting eyes. Kämmer & Reinhardt was a customer and used the Gans patent of flirting eyes in some of their dolls. Otto Gans continued on his own to innovate in the doll industry, patenting many doll improvements.

Otto Gans, Hugo Seyfarth and Adolf Heller formed the Gans & Seyfarth Puppenfabrik doll factory in 1908 until 1922. When the partnership dissolved Otto Gans continued his doll factory, Adolf Heller in 1909 founded his doll factory. Hugo Seyfarth and Hugo Reinhardt in founded Seyfarth & Reinhardt Doll Factory.

Adolf Heller Dolls AH 1909-1925 German

Adolf Heller (AH) doll factory founded in 1909 advertised bisque head ball jointed character; Baby or newborn, toddlers, Lady dolls, some with voice boxes or movable tongues and small All Bisque dolls. Adolf Heller doll mark A # H. Adolf Heller doll trade names in 1914 Meine Goldperle My Gold Pearl, 1925 Mein liebes Kind My good Child.

Adolf Hulss Dolls AHW 1913-1930+ German

The Adolf Hulss doll factory of Waltershausen Germany specialized in making bisque or celluloid head bent limb Baby or toddler dolls that could sit, lay or stand, doll mark AHW, AHE. Adolf Hulss doll mold number 156, 175. Some Hulss bisque heads by Adolf Heller, Simon & Halbig – celluloid heads by Schildkrot with a turtle mark.

Seyfarth & Reinhardt SUR Dolls 1922-1930

Hugo Seyfarth and Hugo Reinhardt (SuR) founded their doll factory in 1922, some of their bisque heads were made by  Ernst Heubach or Armand Marseille.  Seyfarth & Reinhardt dolls were distributed by Louis Wolf & Company.  In 1922 Seyfarth & Reinhardt registered the doll trade names; Elfe doll and My Fairy doll.
