1940s Little Schaver cloth doll 14″ tall, all cloth, painted facial features side glancing eyes, closed mouth, dressed in a purple long sleeve bodice with sleeves ending in sheer pale green, full long pale green with ruffle skirt dress, black cloth shoes, black lace gloves, purple cloth purse, floral with black trim hat, doll mark label Madame Alexander Little Shaver.

1941-1942 Alexander Carmen Miranda doll 14 or 18″ tall, all composition, sleep eyes, closed mouth, black wig, shown in original clothing, uses the Wendy Ann face mold, doll marked WENDY ANN or WENDY ANN Mme. ALEXANDER New York.

1941 Alexander Jeannie Walker doll 13 1/2, 14 or 18″ tall, made only one year, all composition jointed body, brown sleep eyes with real eyelashes, painted lower lashes, closed small puckered mouth, rosy chipmunk cheeks, single stroke eyebrows, human or mohair wig usually in light brown or blonde, has a unique walking mechanism with pulley and levers, Alexander’s first walking doll, doll mark Alexander Doll Co. Pat No. 2171281 or unmarked.
Madame Alexander Jeannie Walker doll in the 14″ size came without a walker mechanism and has a slim body like the all composition Wendy Ann dolls. Alexander Jeanne walker doll mark Alexander Doll Co. Pat No. 2171281 or unmarked, clothing will have the Jeannie Walker name included on the tag. Jeannie came in many different school girl or day dresses; one piece pale blue sailor dress, with attached full slip, socks and oilcloth shoes.

1941-1942 Alexander Lollie baby doll 19 1/2″ tall, composition head with molded lightly painted hair, multi stroke painted eyebrows, blue sleep eyes, real upper eyelashes, painted lower lashes, open/closed painted red mouth, jointed body at neck, shoulder and hips, (some dolls may have rubber arms), composition legs, doll marked ALEXANDER.

1942-1946 Alexander Special Girl doll 16- 24″ tall, composition shoulder head and limbs, stitched hips with cloth non-walking body, some may have a crier voice box, the only other doll to use the Jeannie Walker head mold, human hair or mohair wig, brown sleep eyes, closed mouth. Shown in all original tagged clothing, doll marked ALEX, ALEXANDER or unmarked.

1943-1944 Alexander Wendy Ann military dressed dolls 14″ tall, all composition jointed doll and marked as Wendy Ann noted above. Alexander made a Defense Worker denim with red stitching jumpsuit uniform, Marine, W.A.A.C. (Army), W.A.A.F. (Air Force), and W.A.V.E. (Navy) uniform and possibly other military uniforms. Madame Alexander clothing tag should have the outfit name on the tag. Doll marked Wendy Ann or unmarked.

1940-1946 Alexander Fairy Queen doll 14 or 18″ tall, all composition jointed body, brown sleep eyes, closed mouth, blonde wig, used the Wendy Ann face mold and markings, dressed in elaborate tulle gown, have found it in pink, turquoise and white, with gold braid trim on bodice, gold crown, wings on back & scepter. Note: the Fairy Queen with a Margaret face mold is made of all hard plastic.
1941 Alexander Sleeping Beauty doll or Cinderella doll 14″ tall, uses the Wendy Ann doll face mold, all composition, jointed at the neck, shoulder and hips, wig, sleep eyes, closed mouth, doll marked WENDY ANN or WENDY ANN Mme. ALEXANDER New York.
