Eegee, Goldberger Dolls 1960s+ USA
The Eegee Doll Company was founded in 1916 by Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Goldberger in Brooklyn, NY the Eegee trademark was first used in 1923. Early dolls were marked EG, Gold Doll, Gold Doll Co., E. Goldberger and finally Eegee or Goldberger or TRADEMARK EEGEE Dolls MADE IN USA inside a circle. Eegee made plastic and vinyl dolls in the 1960s+. Eegee is still a family run business today (04/2025) as Goldberger Toys.

1963+ Eegee Lil Sister doll, 9 1/4″ tall, soft plastic head with long straight rooted hair, with or without bangs, painted blue eyes, freckles across the bridge of her nose, closed painted mouth, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Lil Sister looks similar to Ideal Tammy dolls little sister Pepper. Wore a red and white swimsuit similar to the Mattel Skipper doll. Eegee Lil Sister doll marked EG, Eegee 100.

1963 Eegee Shelley doll, 12″ tall, teenage fashion doll, Ideal Tammy clone or look a like with rooted grow hair, blue painted side glancing eyes, closed mouth, jointed fashion doll body, doll mark Eegee.

1963 Eegee Stone Age Baby doll, 12 or 14″, Ideal Pebbles Flintstone knock-off, look a like, clone or competitor, vinyl head with short short hair with a plastic bone attached, painted facial features with side glancing eyes, closed smiling mouth, jointed body at neck, shoulders and hips, wore an animal print top edged in red bias tape and red panties, doll marked Eegee 150-2 or unmarked.
