Max Rader Antique Dolls 1910-1913 German
Max Rader founded his doll company in 1910 located in Sonneberg, Germany and ceased operations in 1913. Due to the short production time, Max Rader dolls are not as commonly found as other German doll makers and you shouldn’t have a problem dating your antique doll.
Max Rader made bisque socket or shoulder head dolly face and character dolls with kid leather or composition jointed bodies in either black and white dolls.
The antique dolls are sized 10″ to 30″ tall, have multi-stroke eyebrows, stationary or sleep eyes, upper and lower painted eyelashes, open mouth with teeth. Max Rader dolls are of good quality.
