Very little is known of the New Era Toy & Novelty Company who was located at 325 Academy Street, in Newark, New Jersey and may have only been in business in 1921. New Era Toy & Novelty made all composition cherub type doll figurines named The Kimball Kids – DOLLS WITH A PUNCH, reads their June 1921 advertisement in Playthings magazine.
